The week of Super Bowl is here!!! As much as the media likes to hype it up, I WANT US ALL TO HYPE IT EVEN MORE. We have several reasons to do so: we BELONG to the Pittsburgh Steelers, who are going for an unprecedented SIXTH Super Bowl win. Another reason to hype the Bowl high to the sky is because IT'S SO COLD OUTSIDE, WE NEED SOMETHING TO CHEER ABOUT. Can I get an amen?
What a way to start the week, to have the Pitt Panthers smack the WVU Mountaineers, at the Mountaineers' own arena, this afternoon. Although only leading by two at halftime, the Panthers charged into the 2nd half and beat the 'eers 79-67. Woo Hoo.
One week from right now we will be 45 minutes into THE BIG GAME. I want to hear what score the Blogging Bunch are predicting. Then, when it's all over, we can crown a winner. I'm dubbing it the Bloggers Bowl. Ready, set, predict!
P.S. In an interesting sidenote, a high school classmate of Bethany's is on the Steelers roster: Jason Capizzi. It doesn't say he is on the practice squad (which I thought he was). But here is the odd thing: it says his year of birth is 1985. That would make him born 3 years after Bethany. I'm thinking they got that wrong.

hmmm he was def young for our grade and i was old for my grade... but i would think 84...

Ok, I've investigated - if you actually click on Jason's name it comes up with the correct birth year of 1983. Typo, anyone? :-)
