Last stick!

Today I went back to the totally 1950's Health Department in Oakland for MY LAST IMMUNIZATION. That place is a blast from the past! Are they serious right now that we are supposed to feel it's hygienic in any way?? The last time it was cleaned was....?? Anyway, I had to get Part 2 of the Hepatitis A and B vaccine. I had a MAN give it to me this time, and he was not gentle. It pinched going in, stung for a while and then started to ache. :( My friend Linda leaves tomorrow morning for Week One of the trip. I had a chance to pray with her today at Community Bible study. She is ready to go! The Advance Team is already there preparing for everyone's arrival. They went yesterday to shop for pillows for us all (we paid an extra $7.50 to not have to drag a pillow along) and all the food supplies for two weeks. An old school bus with a hired driver is the mode of transportation, and about 1 mile from the Mission Compound, the bus broke down. So, along with praying for safe travels from Pittsburgh to Houston to Tegucigulpa, Honduras, send up a request for reliable transportation while there. THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO IS PRAYING FOR THIS TRIP.
