T-R-I-P

Yesterday I got the opportunity to share with my church family all about my recent mission journey to Honduras. I was thrilled to be able to relate to them all that I saw and experienced, as so many of them were partners with me in this. My loved ones at Bakerstown Alliance supported me financially and with their prayers and words of encouragement. I am so grateful. So, I asked the Lord to give me a clever way to show the metamorphosis my heart and mind went through on this adventure. Here is what He gave me:

ME before Honduras:

T -imid I am not adventurous! Would rather not fly

R -eluctant to make a commitment to go

I-ndifferent to the Honduran people and their plight

P-roud I didn't want to look foolish or sound foolish

ME after Honduras:

T -ransformed I feel like I glow when I talk about Honduras!

R -esolved to go back again!

I -nspired by the people, by my fellow mission workers and all God taught me

P -assionate about the work that still remains and the part I play in that

It is never to late to dive in~you CAN make a difference!

Thanks Blake! I spilled water, dropped things and was generally clumsy! but I trust God was glorified in some way :)
