Rejoice! Rejoice!

"Rejoice! Rejoice! My son is coming home again! Rejoice! Rejoice! Go kill the fatted calf!"

If you didn't live through the 80's and the Contemporary Christian music scene from that era, you cannot hear the tune running through my head.
In 1981, February to be exact, when Jon drove me and our new baby boy, our firstborn, home from the hospital over the rolling snowy hills of West Virginia, he played that song on our tape player in our little Nissan sedan. I bawled like a baby.....hormones and a heart full of love for both my sweet husband and precious newborn son.
We sang it again tonight when we got the awesome news ....that same son, now 27 yrs old, is coming back home to Pittsburgh from Tennessee. He's been gone 3 years and we have missed his presence around the old homestead.
Josh got a job (thank you to everyone that prayed) with a national Healthcare union here in the 'burgh. He is thrilled! His Master's Degree is in Labor Relations and Negotiations, so this is right up his alley.
We are over the moon with joy! Let the celebration begin!
