I have immersed myself since the Democratic convention in the political scene, watching all the tv coverage, listening to all the talk shows, and reading all the internet articles. I have even joined web chats to express my displeasure with network coverage. I have not been this interactive with network television since Janet Jackson's wardrobe malfunction.
At this point I want to say PUKE!
I have HAD IT with every word and nuance being dissected, dissed, discussed!
That goes for both sides!
I really like Sarah Palen, and am so glad she was added to the Republican ticket. I know WAY too much about her, though, thanks to the media.
The TV pundits think they are making a name for themselves by being rude, ridiculous and outrageous. What they are actually doing is turning people off from being involved and being informed. I have had so much spin from the "experts" that I feel as if I have been through both the washer and the dryer!
I think they should make a law that you can only talk about five or six major subjects~the normal ones....health care, our country's defense, illegal aliens, the economy, social issues......everything else should be illegal. If you talk about someone's minister, you are fined 500,000 dollars. If you mention someone's child, you are fined 750,000 dollars. And so on.
If I am at saturation point, I am sure many others are, also.
What is going to happen in the next 57 or so days until we go to the polls? I shudder to think.

cute new set up!
Great points patty! I like the fine idea!
One thing that will happen in these next 57 days is your great nephew will be born and that has nothing to do with politics! So that will be a break from political saturation!
I miss you and the fam.
I personally will not be answering any election phone calls in the next two months. They've already started. We get 4-5 a day. During the primaries, it was more like 20 a day. And I've stopped watching the news. I just don't want to hear it anymore. Nov. 2 can't come soon enough as far as I'm concerned.
