....who knew Jon and Britney Spears had the same birthday? Go figure. But Good Morning America decided to give Britney a forum to celebrate her birthday on tv. Is that fair?
.....didn't blog yet about the Backyard Brawl that was Friday after Tgiving. Awesome time. I think the fact that Pitt was trailing WVU in the 3rd quarter, and it didn't look good, made the WIN even more enjoyable. Loved being there for the victory in person. I taunted quite a few WVU fans after the game until Jon said, "That's enough." Guess he thought he was gonna have to defend me if I went on and on....
......there is a water taxi from the Clemente Bridge to Heinz Field that is really fun to take to the games. We took it a few times last year, but just the one time this year. A quick and warm way to get to the game. $6 roundtrip.
.....after Pitt football's outstanding win on Friday (daytime), Pitt basketball played in The Legends Classic Friday night. Another win. LaRoche (jer's team) played W & J Saturday at 6, and won, despite being the underdog. Came home from that for the finals of the Legends Classic to watch Pitt take the Legends trophy. And then Sunday.....a fantastic win for the Steelers vs the Patriots. Unbelievable 3 days of sports!!
.....I made a pretty darn good dinner for Jon's birthday that we ate during half time of the Steeler game on Sunday.
.....Bethany and I fly to Charlotte Thursday to meet Jacob Michael Burns. That would be Charissa and Chad's first child, and Mike and Carol's first grandchild. We will be gone until Sunday.
.....I can never really start Christmas preparations until after Jon's birthday. So, that would be tomorrow. HMMM. Guess I will wait til we get back from Charlotte.
