Playing with the kids

One of my primary tasks on our trip to Honduras in less than 3 weeks will be playing with the kids. Bethany will join me in this. We have 23 families in La Vila San Francisco that we support year-round with a food distribution. These families will be first in line at the dental clinic which will be operating on Day 1. Once they get their dental check up and lesson in proper dental hygiene, they will be released for "play time and story time". That is because their mothers will be listening to a teaching on parenting skills and safe/sanitary practices in the home. These 23 families have more than 70 children.
One of the Christ-centered lessons we will do with the kids is the Legend of the Candy Cane. We will also do the Wordless Book, as colors are universal and should be an easy to understand concept.
For playtime, I have decided I want to take one of those nylon parachutes.....it is lightweight to get in my suitcase; it folds easily; and there are multiple things you can do with it to entertain kids.
My problem right now is, I don't have one. Does anyone out there in blogging land know of one I can borrow? If not, I can buy one on Amazon. Then I will have to decide if I want a 10 ft - 18 ft in diameter parachute. The cost, of course, goes up with the size. I can get one for as low as $30, but if I decide to go for the big one, it will be closer to $90.

Patti - I have one that you can borrow. I'll try to remember to bring it on Monday.

I was going to say that maybe you could borrow the one from Mahaffey Camp, but it looks like you got it covered!
