The smile you see today would be mine; my faith is restored in the honesty of the common folk. I got a Priority Mail package yesterday that contained my lost wallet, including ALL of the contents.
I was completely wrong about "the seedy side of NYC life" ......it took this person time, effort and money to return my wallet. The postage was $4.85 to send it to me.
Their return address was from Ronkonkoma, NY, which is a little further out on Long Island past Queens.
Great ending to a great NY weekend.
