This Thanksgiving, I am thankful for:
...my husband. He works hard, he provides,he makes me laugh and he is my love!
... Josh moving back to Pittsburgh; he has a career he enjoys, and lets us share in his life. That he and I have had great bonding time this fall going to CLO shows/dinner together. That he is so well-rounded in his interests.
....thankful and proud that Bethany makes a difference in other people's lives every day. That she and I are close enough that I can say anything to her and feel safe. Thankful that we make sure in our busy lives to spend quality time together.
...Jeremy graduating from Pitt this year which will make 2008 a banner year. No more kids in college! Jeremy getting a coaching job. So thankful it is close by so that he can make me smile/annoy me daily. And more thankful than I can say that the coach he works with is a Christian man.
....that Levi is still a big part of our lives and fills our hearts with JOY.
....that my parents are healthy and active and a big part of my life.
....that my sisters live close and are my best friends.
....for my church, my church family, my old pastor Dan, and my new/old pastor Vern.
.... for my friendship with Linda that has lasted over 24 years.
...for a job in these economic times! For the people I work with that I find dear.
....that my in-laws are still active and independent and happy.
.....for my Bible study on Thursdays that is so rich in God's word!
......for the small group that meets at my house on Mondays. Good material and great people!
......for a roof over our heads, food in the cupboards, and vehicles for transportation.
....for extended family that have known God's blessings throughout the year. A special joy is a new family member, Jacob Burns, who I will meet in a week.
....most especially that I was introduced to Jesus at an early age and have know the love and blessings of God always.
....and so much more.
May you find time today to reflect on your treasure trove of blessings and be thankful.
