S.O.S

No~ I don't need help, at least not today!
But....do you?

A new friend of mine, Sally, that I met through my Honduras trips, has started a new venture called S.O.S. It stands for Sally's Outreach Services, and what she is proposing to do is help you ~using one of the the many gifts God has given her.
A drug rep for many years, she was laid off last year and has been asking God what's next for her life.
Multi-talented would be an understatement for this woman of God. She has a beautiful soloist voice which she used to the glory of God while we were in Honduras. I will let you in on this little secret that you won't find on her resume: she won the talent portion of Miss Pennsylvania when she was a contestant in the pageant. Now Sally is around my age, so yes, it was a few years ago, but she still can sing!!
Sally also has a knack with colors. If you are wondering what color to paint a room or what color looks best on you, she could do a consultation.
She is a great gardener, and beautified a huge back yard in Oakmont this summer for a friend...one of her first efforts in her SOS venture. Sally is also willing to clean houses. Her thought process is that whatever will help someone, she wants to do it if she is able.
This past week she painted my living room for me. It turned out gorgeous in my opinion, and she is meticulous in her application of the paint. (the opposite of my painting skills)
Here is the best part of SOS: Sally has a heart for missions, so whatever "donation" you give her for her services will go toward mission trips. Her goal is to be able to go on two mission trips per year. She will be returning to Honduras in Feb 2010 and is hoping to go to Cambodia or an African country next year as well.
Let me know if you'd like to use Sally's services! She's a peach!
